He was predeceased by: his parents, Hattie G. Young (Matthews) and Milton J. Young; his stepmother Rosalie Young; and his brother Jason Young. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Young; his children, Timothy Young, Gregory Young (Angela), Beverly Lanier (Milton), Angela Hankerson (Lawrence) and Tanya Young; his siblings, Vandalia Pritchett and Carlton Young (Sylvia); his siblings-in-law, Randolph Byrd, Jr. (Bonnie), Bobby Byrd (Grace), Curtis Byrd (Cheryl), Winnie Cropper, Barbara Shrieves and Jeanette Northan (Jeff); and his cousin Hartavia Adams (Charles). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
