He is survived by : his children, Alesia Matthews, Trudy Smith, Melissa Howard and David Lee Smith; his sisters, Evelena Gunter (Alfred) and Gloria Graves; his sister-in-law Reverend Mary Washington; and his nieces and nephews, Clettie, Helen, Loretta, Pauline, Audrey, Evelena, Annette, Doris, Quadrina, Melvin, John, Jeff, Benjamen, Kenneth, Kelvin, Winston, Tyrone and James. He is also survived by great grandchildren, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, family and friends.
