He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert H. Valentine and Elizabeth Bond Valentine; and his wife Linda Valentine. He is survived by: his son Matthew H. Valentine; his sister Carole B. Valentine; his cousin Richard Disharoon; his parents-in-law, Ben, Lori Blackmon, Lisa, Steve Murray, Tom, Joan Potts, David, Sharon Potts and Gail Potts; his friend Patty Jump; and his pet Magnolia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
