He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Coffey and Jesse L. Coffey; his sisters, Vera Coffey Bishop, Anne Coffey Higenbotham and Trixie; and his pet Fuji.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Coffey of Afton; his sons, Frederick Coffey of Faber, VA and Kenneth W. Coffey (Barbara) of Waynesboro; his grandson Eric Coffey (Laura) of Roanoke; his great grandchild Charlotte Grace; his niece Susan Miller; and his nephews, Kevin Bishop and Tim Bishop.
A graveside service was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery (2 Tanbark Dr, Afton, VA 22920).
