It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William L. Harris of Afton, Virginia, who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Alexander and Mary Evaline Cason Harris; and his brothers, Carl Alexander Harris, Jr., Carlton Andrew Harris and Rayburn Eugene Harris, Sr..

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Kent Hungerford Harris; his children, Shaun David Harris (Shara), Christopher Aaron Harris, Chase Alexander Quick (Jennifer), Melissa Dawn Harris (Andrew) and Gwinn Elizabeth Harris Hall (Skylar); and his siblings, Clarence, Bushong Harris, Sr., Leland Francis Harris, Sr. and Mary Sandra Harris Sink. He is also survived by his three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
