She was predeceased by: her parents, William French and Mable Tanner; her husband Russell Thomas Powell, Sr.; her granddaughter Lisa Sheree Webb; her son-in-law Peter Webb; and her siblings, Mabel, Blanche, Doris and Bill.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Thomas "Tommy" Powell, Jr. (JoAnn), Ellen Sue Powell Webb and Jamie Powell (Robin); and her grandchildren, John Webb (Holly), Holly Walton, Rusty Webb (Stephanie), Beth Jones (Chris), Russ Powell and Ryan Powell (Kayla). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Williams Funeral Home and Crematory (410 Windsor Ave, Lawrenceville, VA 23868). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at the Bethel Church Cemetery (9783 Boydton Plank Rd, Alberta, VA 23821).
