She was predeceased by: her husband C. Julian Sledd; her daughter Janet Whichard; and her sister Katherine Newton. She is survived by: her children, Joan Flannagan Julie (Frank) and Charles J. Sledd, Jr.; her grandchildren, Katie Shiflett (Gabe), Nicky Pettry (Rachel), Ryan Pettry (Bri) and Maddie Seppelt (Jamal); her great grandchildren, Christian, Liam, Reid, Kendall, Bradley and Bentley; and her niece Rebecca Sherman (H. H. Webb).
