He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Hawthorne and Loraine Hawthorne of Alberta. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lambert Hawthorne; his children, Judi Daniel (F. M.), Bobbie Ann Lee and Connie Cline (Mike); his grandchildren, Katie Jo Welton (Mike), Wil Daniel (Krystal), Dalton Arthur (Kelsey), Walter Gray, Jordan Lee, Brandon Lee (Ashley), Austin and Stephen Cline; his great grandchildren, Mariah Atkins (Mikey), Zach Thomas (Natalie), Wyatt Welton, Greenlee, Hazel Daniel, Colton Arthur, Zane, Zion, Amaryah, Elias Gray, Amora, Alana Lee and Wyatt Cline; his great great grandchild Wesley Braxton Thomas; and his brothers, Burnell Hawthorne of Charles City, VA and Steve Hawthorne (Kathy) of Alberta.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home and Crematory (410 Windsor Ave, Lawrenceville, VA 23868).
