He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Meczykowski and Helen Meczykowski; his brother Anthony Meczykowski; and his brothers-in-law, John Rose and Stanley Olszewski.
He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, June Roman and James Roman (Sara); his grandchildren, Adam James (AJ), Ellie and Grady; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Rose, Sandy Olszewski, Phyllis Gutowski and Janina Meczykowski.
