She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Leanes and Maryann Leanes. She is survived by: her husband Alan Brown; her children, Christian Lee VandenHoogen of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Erika Cook; her son-in-law Garrett Cook of Leesburg, Virginia; her siblings, Jim Leanes and Deborah McCue; and her grandchildren, Alexandrea Blazel, Vincent VandenHoogen, Addison Cook and Riley Cook. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel (158 Catoctin Cir SE, Leesburg, VA 20175).
