With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara Ann Jewell of Alexandria, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles S. Simms and Ethel M. Simms; her husband Theodore "Teddy" A. Jewell Jr.; her granddaughter Vanessa M. Jewell; and her brothers, William and Richard Simms.
She is survived by: her children, Gail M. Zukosky (Gene), Theodore "Jay" A. Jewell III (Tami) and Stuart D. Jewell; and her brother David L. Simms (Patricia). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Barbara's memory to Compassus Hospice.
