With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Ann Martinez of Alexandria, Virginia, born in Northfield, Minnesota, who passed away on February 12, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, John P. Albers and Eileen Rouze Albers; and her brother Peter G. Albers. She is survived by : her husband Edward L. Martinez; her children, Sara Elizabeth Martinez (Matthew Urch) and David M. Martinez; her grandsons, Samuel Martinez Urch and Henry Martinez Urch; her sister Patricia Moore (Dallas Moore); and her sisters-in-law, Irene I. Martinez and Norma A. Martinez (Claude C. Martinez). She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Doctors Without Borders, Habitat for Humanity, or Family and Children's Center (designated funds for The Other Door).
