He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Warren and Anna Sylvia Kozak; his wife Ann Carol Wunderlich Warren; and his sister Harriet Warren Birenbaum. He is survived by: his daughters, Dr. Susan Warren (Justin Bennet) and Miriam (Gary Krauss); and his grandchildren, Nathan, Jake, Arielle and Moses.
Among his many other awards, Bert was honored in 1999 with the NJPA Golden Merit award for his outstanding contribution to the New Jersey Psychiatric Association.
