She was predeceased by: her father Oscar Harwood Towler; and her siblings, Ralph Harward Towler, Anne Walton Towler Davis, Jean Sullivan Towler Kelly and James Benjamin Towler.

She is survived by: her children, Vernona Cherrington Wright Gaston (W. Harper Gaston), Duane Towler Wright (Theresa Talbott Wright) and Douglas McLean Wright (Lisa Cogley Wright). She is also survived by five grandchildren, and 15 Great-grandchildren.
