He was predeceased by: his wife Madeleine A. Lynch; and his parents, Kenneth Paul Scheffs and Rosemarie Scheffs. He is survived by: his daughter Madeleine Scheffs; his stepdaughter Katie Galluzzo (Ryan Werts); his sister Carol Ruf (Chris); and his nieces and nephews, Casey, David and Ryan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Innocence Project and to the Wounded Warrior Project.
