He is survived by: his parents, Dan Sr. McClendon and Helen McClendon of Fort Washington, Maryland; his children, Danate McClendon of Dumfries, Danayshia McClendon of Brooklyn and Damera McClendon of Atlanta, Georgia; his granddaughter Kahriyah McClendon of Dumfries, Virginia; his brother Terry McClendon of Alexandria, Virginia; and his niece Tiara Suggs of Williamsburg. He is also survived by three aunts, six uncles, one great aunt and many close family members and friends.
