He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Lincoln Klinkert, Sr. and Elsie Church Klinkert; and his wife Jennie Hakenson Klinkert. He is survived by: his children, Bonnie McCarthy (Steve), Sharon Klinkert, Daniel Klinkert III (Dawn) and Thomas Klinkert (Valerie); and his sisters, Kathleen Klinkert and Rose Donohue (John). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Funeral Chapel (5755 Castlewellan Dr, Alexandria, VA 22315). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ivy Hill Cemetery (2823 King St, Alexandria, VA 22302).
