He is survived by: his children, David Jr., Stephen Thompson and Michelle Collings (Thompson); his half-sister Angela Thompson; his grandchildren, Emileigh, Ryan, Sasha, Ari, Owen and Alex; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Marinos (Bingaman) and Paul Bingaman, Jr. of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by many grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews, and other cousins.
