With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fred M. McCarroll in Alexandria, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel McCarroll and Hildy McCarroll. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne McCarroll; his children, Aaron McCarroll (Catherine), Dawn McCarroll Hill, Nathan McCarroll and Patrick McCarroll; his stepchildren, Michael Newman, Catherine Lester and Billy McFarland; his siblings, Les McCarroll, Elizabeth Drennan and Shirley Bryant; and his cousin Norma Croner.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
