He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Moore and Sadie Moore; his wife Alda Joan Lunceford Moore; and his daughter Janet Lynn Brandt. He is survived by: his brothers, Samuel Moore (Pete), Robert Moore and John Hyman; his friend Helen Sampson of Alexandria Virginia; and his children, Jack Wade Moore, Samuel Dallas Moore and Margaret Jean Fauntleroy.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Comfort Cemetery (6600 S Kings Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22306).
