The family announces the passing of Joel D. Miller of Alexandria, Virginia on September 6, 2026. Joel, born on December 31, 1948, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Joel will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Joel by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Joel is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Joel’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Eden and Seth; his granddaughters, Sarah and Deanna; and his son-in-law Joe.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172). Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Phyllis' Home. For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
