He was predeceased by: his children, Rigoberto and Maria (Gille); and his parents, Josefina Gomez and Ramon Gomez. He is survived by: his wife Maria Gomez; and his children, Ramon, Rogelio, Jose (Joey) and Diana.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jefferson Funeral Chapel (5755 Castlewellan Dr, Alexandria, VA 22315). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (8710 Mount Vernon Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22309).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jose's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
