He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Scott Pigford (Winston Sparrow) and Paul; and his sister Karen McMurray. He is survived by: his aunt Saundra Boswell; his sibling's children, Nicole McMurray, Zachary Scott Robbins and Darryl McMurray, Jr.; his great-nephew Daniel McMurray Battle (Powell Cousins); his stepsisters, Gloria Steward and Vaildes Williams; his friends, Maurice Jenkins, Cecil, Keith (Craig), Leroy, Sylvester, Tony and Cynthia; and his brother Michael T. Jones.
