She was predeceased by: her father John Richard Summerlin. She is survived by: her husband Dr. John Andrew Tan; her sons, Christian Daniel Tan and David John Tan; her mother Maxine Teachey Summerlin; and her siblings, Susan Eason and Jay Summerlin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
