He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Muriel Ann Dennis and James Amos Yancey; his siblings, Karen Ann Yancey (Sorrell), Willliam Yancey (Billy) and James Dennis Yancey; his daughter Ann Renee Yancey (Dodson); his grandchildren, Brian Langley and Lindsey Langley; his former life partner Diana Regan; his spouse Roger Dodson; and also Janice Yancey (Roberts).
