We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Sam Butler Jr. of Alexandria, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel E Butler Senior and Kathleen Beeton Butler; and his siblings, Douglas Butler and Karen Butler Saito (Glenda Henson Butler). He is survived by : his children, Norman Butler (Jolie Elizabeth Anna) and Jolie Butler Mayo; his son-in-law Francis Lee Mayo III (Frank); his granddaughter Amanda Kay Mayo; his grandson-in-law Nick Saalwaechter of Cleveland; his granddaughter Annaliese Louise Mayo of Statesboro, Georgia.; and his wife Glenda Louise Hanson.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
