She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Bracey and Elizabeth Bracey; and her brother Curtis Bracey Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Mary Dicks; her daughters, Michele Johnson and Velda McGhee; her grandchildren, Lamar Johnson (Emily Kaplan) and Faith Johnson; her nephew Antony Dicks; and her great-nephew Aaron Dicks.
