We announce the death of Thomas Howard Ritter of Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on August 15, 2026, at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas P. Ritter and Margaret E. Ritter (Papp); his siblings, Mary Shambaugh, Suzanne Ritter, Daniel Ritter and James Ritter; and his grandparents, Alex, Mary Papp, Stewart and Susan Ritter of Youngstown.
He is survived by: his friends, David, Barbara and John; and his siblings, Margaret Ann Cleckner of Lowellville, Charmaine A. Jabr (Joe) of Morgan Hill, Cathleen L. DeMarco of Canfield, Judy M. Reynolds of Youngstown and Mark C. Ritter (Jaida Starks) of Youngstown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; many aunts and uncles on both sides of his family; and numerous extended family members and friends.
