He is survived by: his wife Lois Brent-Shaw; his daughters, Karen McDowell (Ivan), Cara Shaw and Vanessa Shaw; his brother Lance; his stepson Bill Brent (Michelle); and his son-in-law Gbenga Erinle. He is also survived by his six grandchildren.
