He is survived by: his wife Ellen Marie Starkey Hedling; his children, Kristen Lisa Villarrial (Christopher) of Ebensburg, PA and George William Hedling of Alexandria, VA; his grandchildren, Levi, Elijah and Jodi-Lu Villarrial; his brother Frederick Hedling (Bonnie West Hedling) of St. Paul, MN; his siblings-in-law, Ann Starkey (George Missios) of Ashburn, VA and Joseph F. Starkey of Annandale, VA; and his pets, Indy, Bam-Bam, Phoenix and Hoss.
