With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Leslie Doss Sr. of Altavista, Virginia, who passed away on December 28, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie James McKinley Doss and Mary Lee Layne Doss. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Doss; his children, James, Jr. (Cheryl) and Mary Thomas (Stuart); his grandson James III (Mandy); and his son Conner Doss.
