It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey Dale Mitchell of Altavista, Virginia, who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert "Jack" Jackson Mitchell and Sylvia Allen Mitchell; and his brothers, Terry Mitchell and Jackie Mitchell. He is survived by : his daughter Savannah Porter (Larry) of Bedford; his brother Scott Mitchell (Tammy) of Pittsville; his close friend Jennifer Mitchell of Altavista; his aunt Sue Blackstock (Edwin) of Evington; and his grandchild Oakley Porter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
