He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Stinnette Scott and James Oakley Scott. He is survived by: his wife Diane Goad Scott; his sisters, Fay Scott Turner of Forest and Arlene Scott of Bedford, Virginia; his daughters, Greta Scott Selden (Stephen) of Mechanicsville and Megan Scott Spofford of Charlottesville, Virginia; and his grandchildren, William, Landon Selden, George and Claire Spofford. He is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
