Berkley left this world on October 4, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary J. Ramsey; and his parents, Berkley Stephen Ramsey and Kathleen Murray Puryear. He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie; his son-in-law Robert Hurt; his son David; his daughter-in-law Emily Ramsey of Greensboro; and his grandchildren, Ramsey Jane Ferrugia of Alton, Reid, William and Alice Jane Ramsey of Greensboro.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (815 N Main St, South Boston, VA 24592).
