He is survived by: his wife Ann Cunningham of Alton, Virginia; his children, James Gregory Cunningham of Jacksonville, Florida and Bridget Carshenia Cunningham of Atlanta, Georgia; his sister Lovely Brown of Ontario, California; his grandchildren, James, Ashley, Jasmine, Keonna and Zoria Cunningham; his great grandchildren, Riley and Noah; his godchild Branda Best Hodges; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Johnston (Irvin) of Greensboro and Eva Cunningham of Middlesex. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mason Chapel Baptist Church (1200 Mason Chapel Rd, Alton, VA 24520). Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
