It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Argylee Bayse Shook (Amelia Court House, Virginia), who passed away on August 8, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Carlos Shook, Sr.; her parents, Argle Bayse and Florence Bayse; her brother Michael Bayse; and her children, David and Paula Sue.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Moore (Gary), Deleca Barker (Robert), Carlos Marshall, Paul Bailey (Chelsea) and Esther Danielle Evans; her stepdaughter Melissa Perkins; and her sister Debra Hutton (Butch). She is also survived by nephews and family and a host of cousins.
