She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Hundley Steele; her son Randall Wayne Steele; her parents, Hiram Wheeler and Thelma Wheeler; and her brothers, Carroll and Eugene Wheeler.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia East (Bruce) and Larry Steele (Julie). She is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for St. Jude's Children's Hospital or a similar charity.
