With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Duff Luther of Amherst, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 24, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Lee Roy Luther, Sr.; and her parents, Elwood Lawrence Duff and Margaret Wood Duff. She is survived by: her children, Lee Roy Luther, Jr. (Shirley), George Paul Drinkard, III (Bonnie), Tina Jefferson (Franklin) and Stephen Luther (Sarah); her grandchildren, Seneca Luther (Nicole), Brandon Jefferson, Madison Holmes (Dakota), Austin Luther, Emma Luther, Kim Glass (Todd) and Dylan Tyree; her great grandchild Arin Luther; and her brother Lawrence Edward Duff "Sammy" (Bonnie).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home (220 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502).
