Dale Keckley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2025, at the age of 63, Dale Keckley of Amherst, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Dale shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dale farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, H. W. "Pete" Keckley and Dorothy Bailey Keckley. He is survived by: his daughter Alexis Keckley; his grandson Cole Norton; his sisters, Judi Malone (Charles) and Sandi Adams (Preston); and his aunt Betty Nichols. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Omps Funeral Home - Amherst Chapel (1600 Amherst St, Winchester, VA 22601). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Hebron Cemetery (305 E Boscawen St, Winchester, VA 22601). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Hebron Cemetery (305 E Boscawen St, Winchester, VA 22601).
Employees and staff would donate their vacation hours to see that he could continue to have health insurance.
