He was predeceased by: his siblings, Henry "High Pocket", Richard "Pat", Alec, Marshall "Big Red" and Gloria Jean Sandidge Sales; and his brothers-in-law, Elmer Paige Sales, Hargie Sales and Jesse M. McCoy (Ernestine Glendale Potter).
He is survived by: his daughter Shanna; his grandchildren, Jayda (Punk), Nathaniel (Little Joker), Rayana and Shyheim; his siblings, Julia Minnis, Hazel Charlton (Terry), Phyllis Sandidge, Victoria Morris, Mitchell (Mary) and Gregory Sandidge (Christy); his sisters-in-law, Fannie Sandidge, Lindell Sandidge and Trina Sandidge; and his friends, Sonya S Braxton (Sharron), Danteas Braxton and Shakiah Braxton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home Madison Heights Chapel. A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church of Amherst.
