He is survived by: his sister Nancy Scott Scherer (Randall) of Chesapeake; his nephew Christopher (Casey); his great-nieces, Caitlyn and Cara Scherer of Chesapeake; his niece Megan (Jonathan); his great-nephew Jansen; and his great-niece Corryn Dail of Kitty Hawk, NC. He is also survived by one Aunt and Uncle and multiple cousins.
