He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph A. Brown and Hazel G. Brown; his grandson Timmell M. Smith; and his siblings, Elburn Brown (Leon) and Carolyn Gregory.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne C. Brown; his children, Catherine N. Brown (Michael Brown), Jacqueline M. Vowels (Manuel Vowels), Cameron J. Brown, Calvin J. Brown and Allen W. Brown (Valita Brown); his grandchildren, Lamont, Jasmine, Carrie, Brianna, Tatianna and Daniel; his goddaughter Shauna Brown; and his siblings, George Brown (Buddy), Shirley Taylor, Cheryl Hall (Handy Hall), Pamela Brown and Marcellia Beverly. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Book Hotel Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory (118 Commonwealth Dr, Madison Heights, VA 24572). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
