She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Lee and Edna Lee; and her siblings, Pearl Blount, Edna Johnson, Queen Huryse, Willie Lee and Robert Lee.
She is survived by: her brother Reverend Henry Lee of Wadesboro, N. C.; her husband Major Carter; her goddaughter Kiion McNeil; and her nephew Morris Waddell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
