It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mineral William Bobbitt of Amherst, Virginia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on November 1, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Calvin Bobbitt and Myrtle Bondurant Bobbitt; his son Ronald D. Bobbitt; and his sister Rachel B. Barringer. He is survived by : his wife Hilda Marie; his daughter Rebekah Masseth (Frank); and his grandchildren, Lucas Bobbitt, Christopher Masseth (Kelly), Tonya Hatfield (John), Kevin Masseth (Liz), Jeff Masseth (Linda) and Jennifer McGowan (Bill). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
