He was predeceased by: his father George Thompson; his grandparents, Edith Campbell, Massie and Leafie Thompson; his parents-in-law, Wayne and Iris Mays; and his brother-in-law Eddie Kidd (Michael Rouse).
He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Nell Thompson (Campbell) of Monroe; his wife Diane Thompson; his daughters, Brittany Ellis (Brandon) of Naples and Courtney Lund (Christian) of Graham; his grandchildren, Savannah Lund, Briane, Brynna, Brayla and Brandon Jr. "Brandt" Ellis; his siblings, George Lee Thompson, Donna Kidd, Sondra Harris (Brian) and Dawn Bailey (Matt); his siblings-in-law, Renita Vallastro (Otto) of Amherst, Sharon Williamson of Amherst, Madison Heights and Wayne Mays (Amy) of Amherst; and his siblings' child Dotson of Beavercreek, Ohio. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
