With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlotte Mae Lightner of Amissville, Virginia, who passed away on April 3, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Walters and Ida Walters; her husband Roger Lee Lightner, Sr.; and her siblings, Ella, Shelby, Doris and Jesse.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Lee Lightner, Jr. (Lisa) of Amissville, VA and Deborah S. Lightner Cramer (Jim) of Culpeper, VA; her siblings, Rev. Paul Walters of Newark, DE, Floyd Walters of Mathias, WV and Millie Langhorne (David) of Quicksburg, VA; her grandchildren, Megan Wright (Justin), Anthony Cramer (Alanna), Joseph Cramer, Brandon Cramer, Nicholas Cramer and Austin Lightner (Ruthie); her great grandchildren, Reagan, Levi, Courtney, Colton and Everett; and her close friend Vonda Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Yorkshire Free Will Baptist church, 7620 Chestnut St., Manassas, VA 20111.
