It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Raymond Holmes of Amissville, Virginia, who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Kenneth Holmes and Fearline Wines Holmes; and his siblings, Larry Kenneth Holmes, Michael Hugh Holmes and Meta Marlow (Sissy).
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Budd Holmes; his daughters, Tracie Lynn Thomas (Ray) of Suffolk, VA and Tammy Lee Fewell (Marcus) of Bealeton, VA; his grandchildren, Austin Thomas (Shannon), Diana Fewell, Caleb Thomas and Isabella Fewell; and his sister Vicki Elam of Front Royal, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
