He is survived by: his wife Nancy Giovingo Nelson; his children, Kristin Marie Nelson Ford, Kathryn Anne Nelson Minder (Brandon) and Kevin James Nelson (Ashley); his siblings, Daniel Nelson (Jolan), Paul Nelson (Janet), Mary Lorthioir (Kenneth), Patrick Nelson, John Nelson and Kathy Sluzka; and his grandchildren, Alexa Minder, Connor Minder, Alana Minder and Isabelle Ford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
