It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Glover Carter of Andersonville, Virginia, who passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Woodson and Lucy Hooper Agee Glover; and her son Danny Iredell Ellis. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Ellis Lawrence (James) of Fredericksburg and Clay Bradrick Ellis (Lynn) of Ashland. She is also survived by four grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
