It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel C. Hedrick of Annandale, Virginia, who passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James B. Childress and Lucy W. Childress; her husband Floyd D. Hedrick; and her siblings, Edith Mae Smith, Fred Wilson, William Holmes and Robert Huey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Hedrick Duclos of Aurora, NC. and Alice Hedrick Cole of Blairsville, GA..
